My professional training is enriched by the various roles I hold in life: mother, wife, immigrant, family member, friend, and perpetual student of life. These multifaceted experiences have taught me the value of resilience, empathy, and compassion.
I have nine years of experience as a Licensed Master Social Worker in Houston. I have worked with children, parents, and families in various roles in outpatient and inpatient settings, schools, non-profit organizations, and community centers. This diverse experience has shaped my approach and allowed me to specialize in helping individuals navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, self-worth, parenting, trauma, and grief.
My approach to therapy is integrative, ensuring a flexible and personalized experience that evolves with your progress. Our journey together will be a collaborative endeavor and shared exploration of your past and present life circumstances to help you gain insight into patterns in your life that you would like to change. We will also focus on helping you create practices, interests, and skills that align to your unique goals.
I have a focus on working with parents, mothers, families of mixed immigration status, and children across the lifespan. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and feel deeply committed to providing a supportive and inclusive space where you can thrive.
