My name is Asha Hussein. I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. I have 3 years of experience working with adults, families, and adolescents. I’ve worked mostly with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, and daily life stress. I aim to inspire my client and help guide him/her to their best self. I completed my bachelor’s degree at Houston Baptist University in 2010 and I completed my master’s degree in 2018 with a Counseling degree. I specialize in working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, Bipolar, and daily life stress.
In my approach, I use person centered therapy, CBT, DBT, Motivational interviewing and integrative approach based on the client’s need. I’ve learned through my experience that people know what they need help with, and It is my role to help and guide my clients in seeking their form of happiness.
I strive to create a safe space for my clients. I aim to help the client feel comfortable with opening up about their struggle and to make sure the client feels seen, heard, and most importantly listened to.
