Getting to know Asha Hussein

Hi there, I'm Asha. Do you feel overwhelmed with your life? Do you find it difficult to balance your responsibilities? Are you experiencing scattered brain syndrome, going in a million directions and unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your family, friendships, work, and health? Is it hard to be compassionate to yourself? My role as your therapist is to be there for you, serving you to perform at your optimal level. I help high performers and professionals manage anxiety, depression, and avoid compassion fatigue and burnout. We are a team; we work together to identify what's preventing you from finding balance in your life. Then, we'll use a holistic approach to address your needs. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a solution-focused approach, ACT, and DBT, addressing the needs of your mind, body, and spirit. I also integrate person-centered therapy and motivational interviewing to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself and provide you with the tools to move forward with your life. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Prairie View A&M University. Whether you're dealing with feelings of overwhelm, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, or cycles of trauma, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can be intimidating, but I am honored to help ease you into the process. You are making the right choice by seeking help. With me, you will have a safe space to be your vulnerable self, to heal and grow. I will also use SMART goals to help you achieve your objectives in a compassionate manner. In our sessions, we'll utilize evidence-based techniques and empathy to help you overcome your daily obstacles. I look forward to helping you on your journey to peace. I'll be here when you are ready to start. Let’s work together!

What should a new client know about working with you?

My clients are my priority. I use person-centered approach. My clients will feel heard and we'll be actively working together to help achieve their goals for themselves. I am their guide, but they'll be doing the steering.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
