Hello and Welcome! I consider it an honor to walk alongside others as they explore new ways of being, acting, thinking, and feeling. I strongly believe that we all have the ability to change and my goal is to offer the guidance, loving support, and resources you need to grow to live your life to your fullest potential. I have a range of experience supporting clients with a variety of issues, including anxiety, emotion-regulation, life transitions, relational conflict, depression, trauma, substance abuse, faith-based issues, loss of meaning and purpose, and values-clarification.
My approach to counseling is informed by my doctoral research which focuses on the question, “how do we change unhealthy emotional patterns?" I believe that the tools offered by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy provide many of the resources we need to change and develop healthy ways of living and connecting.
I believe that none of us are born with all the skillsets and support we need throughout our lives. We must lean on and learn from each other if we are to grow into the mature, happy people we desire to be. I strongly encourage you to reach out for the support and resources you need.
