As an eclectic therapist and the Founder of Kortsens Changed Mindsets, I utilize more than one theoretical approach and techniques which are unique to each client's needs-depending on the client's problems and treatment goals. My specialty and passion is therapy for any gender, all ethnicities-ages 13-75 years old, who are struggling to cope with life stressors .i.e. anxiety, depression, anger, grief/loss, burnouts, lacking personal boundaries, low self-esteem, self-harming, bullying, emotional dysregulation, cognitive distortions, problem solving-deficits, relationship issues, trauma, etc. With evidence base tools, my goal is to help you understand and live a happier, healthier and fulfilling life.
Everyone has a unique story and needs a safe and empathetic environment to feel heard, understood and accepted without judgment. I will prioritize your autonomy, self-exploration and personal growth. I will facilitate and guide you to explore your feelings, thoughts and experiences at your own pace. My therapy approach emphasizes the importance of self-healing.
