Psychotherapist
1205 S White Chapel Blvd, Ste 265, Southlake, TX
I provide therapy for clients ages 15 and older who are navigating high functioning anxiety, personality disorders, emotional dysregulation, relationship challenges, and men’s mental health concerns. Many of my clients are professionals, athletes, and high performing students who are accustomed to pushing themselves to succeed. From the outside, life may look successful, while internally they may be dealing with anxiety, anger, stress, perfectionism, or difficulty managing relationships and expectations. High functioning anxiety can make it difficult to slow down, feel satisfied with accomplishments, or maintain balance in work, school, and personal life. Personality patterns can affect how you experience emotions, respond to stress, and connect with others. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or stuck in patterns that are no longer serving them. I use evidence based approaches including EMDR and DBT to help clients process trauma, improve emotional regulation, manage anxiety and anger, and develop healthier responses to stress and conflict. Therapy focuses on building insight, strengthening coping skills, improving relationships, and creating meaningful, sustainable change. I also work with men who have spent years managing stress on their own while feeling pressure to continue performing. Men’s therapy can provide a space to talk openly about what is really going on, build emotional awareness, and develop practical tools for managing stress, relationships, and life’s demands. My style is direct, collaborative, and focused on real change. I believe therapy works best when we can have honest conversations, challenge patterns that are not helping you, and develop practical skills you can use in everyday life. I offer in person therapy in Southlake, TX and surrounding areas, as well as secure online therapy throughout Texas.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide a supportive space where you can be honest about what’s really going on without judgment, but also without staying stuck. My approach is both compassionate and direct. I’ll listen to your experiences while also helping you identify patterns, build insight, and make meaningful changes. I specialize in working with individuals who experience intense emotions, high-functioning anxiety, personality patterns that impact relationships, and challenges with emotional regulation. Many of my clients are used to “holding it together” on the outside while feeling overwhelmed internally. Our work together focuses on helping you better understand your emotions, develop practical skills to manage them, and build a life that feels more stable, intentional, and aligned with who you are.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We begin with a comprehensive intake where I learn about your current concerns, history, and what you want to get out of therapy. This helps guide our work and determine the most effective approach for your needs. From there, we collaborate on a treatment plan. I primarily use evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), depending on what fits best for you. A typical session is active, structured, and collaborative. We usually start with a check-in on your week, current stressors, and any patterns or challenges that have come up. From there, we may focus on building practical skills (such as emotional regulation or distress tolerance), processing experiences, or working through situations related to relationships or daily life. I provide feedback, guidance, and tools you can apply outside of session. I also incorporate gentle challenges when helpful to support meaningful change. As therapy progresses, we regularly revisit your goals, track progress, and adjust our approach as needed. My goal is to help you not only feel better, but also build lasting skills and insight so you can navigate life with more confidence, stability, and independence.

More information on payments and coverage

I am in-network with several insurance plans and use Headway to manage all insurance billing and claims. If you plan to use insurance, your benefits will be verified prior to your first session so you have a clear understanding of your coverage, including any copays, coinsurance, or deductibles. Please note that insurance plans vary, and you are ultimately responsible for understanding your specific benefits. Any costs not covered by insurance (such as copays, deductibles, or denied claims) will be your responsibility. For clients choosing to pay out-of-pocket, I offer a private pay rate and can provide a superbill upon request for possible reimbursement through your insurance plan. All payments are processed securely through the client portal, and a valid card on file is required. Charges are typically processed on the day of your session. If you have questions about coverage, billing, or payment options, I’m happy to help clarify or guide you in understanding your benefits so there are no surprises.
