Like most men during these two defining decades, you will likely experience anxiety and/or disappointments about a relationship, job, or major life transition like moving to a new city or going back to school. I understand that finding someone relatable to help you make sense of all these concerns can be tough. In fact, fewer than 16% of therapists under 40 are male.
Receiving support from a male therapist who has both been through this journey and has done the work to unpack it can be invaluable. I can't understate the value of the counseling I received earlier in my life, and that's why, after a decade spent in business operations and strategy, I made the shift to become a therapist. I believe you also deserve a mentor.
I'm not sure where your journey will lead you, but I can tell you'll get great relief from taking just a few small steps.
