My path to massage therapy wasn’t linear—it was a journey shaped by curiosity, compassion, and a deep desire to help others heal. Initially drawn to criminal justice and psychology, I found those fields intellectually stimulating but emotionally distant. I wanted to make a more tangible impact. A month before graduation I decided to study physical therapy, but cost and time commitment made it out of reach. That’s when I discovered the power of massage therapy—and everything clicked. Massage offered the perfect blend of science and soul. It allowed me to work with the body while honoring the emotional and psychological layers of pain and recovery. I trained rigorously and became a Licensed Medical Massage Therapist, specializing in: Sports Massage for injury recovery and performance Lymphatic Drainage for healing and detox Deep Tissue and Medical Massage for chronic pain and tension Every Session I offer is tailored, intentional, and rooted in genuine care. My studio in Queens is a space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to reclaim their well-being.

In my last trimester, I received a prenatal lymphatic drainage massage by Bhavisha. She was patient, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly. I felt immediate relief and noticed the swelling go down within a day. I even requested her assistance during the first few weeks postpartum. Highly recommend for anyone pregnant, recovering after birth or dealing with water retention!
