Hello, I am Dr. Rudge. Welcome to The Listening Room, a counseling practice focused on listening to your needs with a skilled and trained therapist licensed by the Department of Health. I hold a Doctor of Social Work degree from Barry University. My practice is dedicated to creating a safe space for men and fathers to share their deepest concerns without judgment or the pressures of society.
I empower men and fathers to overcome the anxieties of fatherhood and the societal status quo of being accepted as a man. Early in my career, I realized that men and fathers often suffer in silence because of the roles they play at home, at work, and as parents, leaving them out of many conversations about mental health.
I understand this is a problem that needs to be addressed, and my practice is committed to creating a trauma-informed setting where men and fathers can discuss their mental health needs while receiving support. So, how can I help?
