Getting to know Robert Aristizabal

I am a licensed psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I hold a Ph.D. in General Psychology and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. Since 1999, I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. Additionally, I provide supervision to mental health counselor interns who are working toward licensure in Florida. I offer individual therapy for adults, children, and adolescents, as well as family therapy and couples counseling. I am certified in Positive Parenting Program (PPP) and specialize in a variety of areas, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, and parenting. Furthermore, I am fluent in Spanish and have a strong interest in cultural issues, allowing me to provide culturally sensitive support to a diverse range of clients. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and compassionate space where individuals and families can work toward healing and personal growth.
