Growing up I was always fascinated with anatomy and biomechanics and their application to athletics and training. I also love working and interacting with people so the synergy of these things naturally led to the study of physical therapy. My undergraduate study in Athletic Training prepared me to work with an active and athletically demanding population. I have found that the challenge of treating high level athletes with very specific needs and demands has helped me develop critical thinking skills that have allowed me to succeed in treating all types of individuals, from weekend warriors training for the next Ironman to nonagenarians looking to get around the block again.
