About Thomas Herman

TJ was first exposed to the world of Physical Therapy while rehabbing a hip injury when running Cross Country and Track & Field in high school. When studying at Rutgers University, he got an internship at a Physical Therapy clinic where he fell in love with the craft. Being able to spend time with his patients and help create meaningful change in their lives is what inspired him to follow this career path. He then continued his journey at Dominican University in New York where he received his DPT. TJ is passionate about helping others achieve their goals and educating both his team and his patients on how to restore physical function, reduce pain, and prevent future injuries. TJ focuses his treatment on skilled manual therapy and exercise prescription using the biopsychosocial model to help his patients achieve their goals. Since then, TJ has run his first marathon and enjoys recreational weightlifting and hopes to help others continue to live a healthy and strong life.
