I believe every child, teen, and family is unique. With this comes unique challenges that you and your child may be experiencing. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, bullying, trauma, grief, or something else, I am here to support both your child in navigating these emotions and behaviors and you as the caregiver. With input from both your child or teen and you, we will collaboratively set goals for your child’s therapy to ensure the right support is provided and that everyone’s goals are heard. Though I specialize in ages 6-18, I continue to work with adults on a case-by-case basis.
I graduated from the University of Denver in 2015 with my Master of Social Work, concentrating in family systems. Since then, I have worked in many areas within the social work field, providing services across the lifespan, including case management with adults with severe and persistent mental illness and navigating the multitude of systems and concerns affecting families every day in a variety of clinical settings. In addition to grief-specific work with families and crisis intervention for all ages, I have directly worked in schools, providing individual, family, and group therapy services to students and their families struggling in a variety of areas. These experiences have shaped me into a clinician with a vast understanding of therapeutic modalities that can provide the best support for your child and family.
Providing trauma-focused and person-centered approaches, I utilize Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, Sand Tray work, among other modern techniques to help your child and family explore what brought you to therapy. I am currently only seeing clients through telehealth but will begin offering in-person sessions on a part-time basis starting in August.
