“Yes, I am definitely going back I have appointments already lined up. Dr. Chan was very warm and welcoming he really listened to all of my concerns. He is extremely knowledgeable and showed professionalism and compassion for my condition which is Plantar Fasciitis the exercises he recommended has already started relieving the pain after two days since my visit with him. He took his time and explained this condition in detail and in layman's terms which I thoroughly understood and appreciated. He also gave me hope that I will be well enough to resume my walking regimen and that made me happy.

About Dr. Carlo Chan
Carlo Chan works at Recovery Physical Therapy’s Upper West Side office. After graduating with a B.S. in Biology from St. Thomas Aquinas College, he earned his DPT from Touro College School of Health Sciences in Manhattan. Carlo has over six years of experience working in orthopedic outpatient practices in Manhattan.
Carlo specializes in orthopedic and sports physical therapy, and has taken continuing education credits involving manual therapy techniques, Kinesio Taping and McKenzie techniques. He is also an active competitor in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and submission grappling; a hobby which allows him to relate to athletes trying to return to their respective sports. Carlo believes that one of the most satisfying aspects of being a physical therapist is seeing patients return to their previous level of function.

RPT is so incredible, the therapist are knowledgable. They know anatomy & have encouraging, professional demeanor. They truly are exceptional healers and they really care about their patients. The office is open, airy and has a positive energy - It's a great resource.
