I work with adolescents and adults with an emphasis on achieving a quiet, relaxed and joyful state of mind to help with a variety of mental health challenges. My mission as a therapist is to help you overcome the limitations created by issues such as anxiety and depression so that you can feel like yourself again and can go on to lead the happy, successful and unburdened life that you're meant to have. My approach includes cognitive-based therapies that focus on mindfulness and acceptance.

I was pleasantly surprised during my initial visit with Mr. Camposeco. I have done therapy in the past and it is often difficult to find a therapist who you feel comfortable and connect with. Mr. Camposeco introduced himself and explained the nature of his practice. He was very easy to open up to and guided the session. He was able to deduce what to speak about and work on in future sessions. I am looking forward to working with him.

He was observant and patient, but he wasn't engaging. I felt like I was forced to talk to break the silence as opposed to him just kind of asking questions I guess? He was asking but they'd be spaced between what felt like long periods and every answer I gave just felt like I had to give more. It wasn't really comfortable honestly, but he was nice.

Nice guy and very flexible with his appointment times, but I didn't feel like we were making the right type of progress with my treatment after a few months.

I saw Carlos for a year. He made me feel good about myself and helped me through a tough time. At some point I needed deeper insights into my psychology and patterns than he could offer. I got the impression that he didn't take any notes or do much more than smile, be kind, listen and say goodbye. If you're in a crisis, he's a very calming presence. If you need genuine insight into your psychology, you should consider another psychologist. All of this said, I am grateful for the time I spent with him. I should have probably made the move to another psychologist a little sooner than I did.

My session with Carlos was great. I felt really comfortable talking to him. Hes a great listener and very attentive. Never once did I feel like he wasn't engaged or his mind was wondering. Felt good to be back in therapy once the session was over. Looking forward to seeing him on a weekly basis. His office is large and spacious and right off of Union Square. Great location.

This guy was disappointing, especially given his positive reviews. He cut appointments short, forgot important and sensitive information that I had told him, and gave me unsolicited advice in an extremely sensitive and difficult family situation rather than helping to walk me through it. I also found his moral compass to be questionable.

I find Dr. Camposeco to be very attentive, calm, with a warm and caring approach. He's a good listener and I soon felt comfortable enough to be open with him, even during out first session. I've been going for about three months. Mr. C. is always on time and prepared for our time together.
