Carly often incorporates neuropsychology (mind/body) psychoeducation and complementary non-traditional talk therapies such as age-appropriate art, nature, and play-based approaches. Non-traditional therapies can help safely process trauma in new ways and build connections between difficult emotions and their physical and mental expression in behaviors and internal schemas. It’s normal to respond in ways learned in early childhood, even if these ways don’t help us now as adults. Carly respects the courage it takes to begin a journey toward meaningful change and looks forward to seeing how you might work together.
