Cecilia earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Fine Arts from the University of Colorado in Boulder and her Master's Degree in Marital and Family Therapy and Clinical Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
Cecilia considers variety the spice of life and has dedicated herself to learning and growing while serving a diverse range of populations of all ages and orientations. She has worked in numerous settings, including outpatient services, group homes, psychiatric hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. She specializes in supporting individuals experiencing depression and anxiety, those who have experienced trauma, and those struggling with relationship issues. Cecilia is also experienced in working with children, families, and couples. She uses an assortment of therapeutic tools and orientations tailored to your specific treatment needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, systems theory, art therapy, and mindfulness.
