Cheyenne Mullan, LPC

Psychotherapist
300 S Jackson St, Ste 505, Denver, CO
My journey as a therapist began at 13, after reading Laurie Halse Anderson's novel Speak. The story's powerful message about trauma and healing inspired me to dedicate my life to holding space for others' stories and bearing witness to their growth. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of New Mexico, which deepened my understanding and skills in supporting clients through their challenges. In my practice, I empower you to find your voice, confront obstacles, and create a joyful, fulfilling life. I work with individuals of all genders, sexualities, ethnicities, and backgrounds in an inclusive and supportive environment. My specialties include trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship concerns. Together, we will set and achieve goals tailored to your unique needs.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide a curious, compassionate space where we can explore not just the “what”, but the “why”. My approach is relational and insight-oriented, grounded in psychodynamic theory and trauma-informed care. We’ll work together to understand how early experiences, inner conflicts, and past relationships may still be influencing how you feel and function today. I also integrate tools from parts work and somatic attachment therapy to help you safely reconnect with your body, build internal trust, and heal from the inside out.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Clients who work with me are often navigating complex trauma, mood disorders, relationship challenges, or identity exploration. They’re looking for meaning, insight, and authentic change. If you’re ready to do deep, reflective work in a space that affirms all parts of who you are, I’d be honored to support you.
