About Dr. Cheryl Lee-Pow
Dr. Cheryl Lee-Pow obtained her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Butler University in 2002, while working as a trained EMT and at Indiana University Hospital. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northeast College of Health Sciences and graduated “Cum Laude” from New York Chiropractic College, where she led numerous organizations including student government, student ACA, Sports Club, and Soft Tissue Club, to name a few. She was selected for the Honors program at the Buffalo Veterans Hospital and also served as the assisting Chiropractor for the Buffalo Bandits Lacrosse Team. Because of her work ethic, Dr. Lee-Pow continued to work with the Lacrosse team after graduation.
She is the current chiropractor for the DC Divas and also a sponsor and supporting Chiropractor for the EX2 Adventure Races & MORE (Midatlantic Off Road Enthusiasts). Dr. Cheryl is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, and has a wide array of experience supporting amateur, collegiate, and professional athletes, including Division 1 Track & Field Championships, US National Taekwondo Championships, Maryland Dew Tour, and the Nation's Triathlon, just to name a few. She was the chiropractor for the Congressional Football Team, in which the nation's senators and congressmen took on the Capitol Hill Police.
Dr. Cheryl is certified in Active Release Technique, Graston Technique, Nimmo Technique, Dry Needling, and Kinesio Taping. In addition, she has specialized training from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. Graduates of this program have received the most in-depth, science-based training available today.
An avid athlete herself, she loves swimming, running, biking, scuba diving, and is a triathlete. When not doing all these things, family comes first!
