More about Dr. Cheryl Seaman, MD

***Please note: I want to speak on the phone with you before confirming so that I know I'm the right doctor for you to consult with.**** I like working with the whole person, so I prefer to do psychotherapy as well as medication. I try to tailor the treatment to the person's real needs and to be flexible in my approach. Good treatment isn't necessarily fast or easy, but working as a team together seems most productive. Depression and anxiety cut across every category and present problems for successful relationships. Alcohol and drugs often hide problems with depression and anxiety, so familiarity with all these problems is important. Listening and talking are tools that are as powerful as medications for healing. I have one office in NYC across from Grand Central. I try to be easy to reach and to return calls as soon as I can.
