My name is Christyn "Christy" Jaap, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2013 and my Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2017, both from LeTourneau University. I have several years of experience working with children and adolescents, both within and outside the school setting, specializing in counseling young people. I have partnered with a company that provides counseling services to children and teenagers in foster care, focusing on helping individuals who have experienced trauma. I also help individuals who struggle with self-confidence, self-esteem, and setting boundaries. Together, we can help you discover who you are as an individual and develop healthy boundaries with others. Whether you are facing challenges within yourself, with others, or with your significant other, we can work together to navigate your emotional challenges, achieve personal growth, and improve your overall well-being.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
