Hello! My name is Hunter, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California. I earned my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary and have been practicing as a therapist for 6 years. More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

To chose only 2 therapy styles is not enough. I would also add challenging thoughts, open minded, direct, open minded, warm and he helps me feel empowered.
He is good at holding me accountable for the things I need to get done. I appreciate how well he listens. He’s a great therapist.
It is still early on, even so I am getting some value out of EMDR sessions. I am feeling a few more previously "lost" emotions and think that will be helpful to work with.
I really like Hunter. Very easy to talk to. He really wants to help, he shows it. He is empathetic, informative, intelligent and lets you talk all that you need. He uses his questions to direct treatment to where he thinks it needs to go, with the client help, of course. I’ve seen many a therapist, but Hunter stands out above. He is dedicated to his craft. I truly and honestly appreciate his efforts. I’ve only met with him 3 times! Give him a try. His young appearance doesn’t mean he is incapable. I was surprised. I’m 63 and hesitated having someone so much younger than I be my counselor. I’m glad I went with my gut.
Hunter has been incredibly helpful in guiding me through somatic therapy. EMDR has given me back years of trying to process old events, change my narrative, and discuss the next steps and boundaries. I am grateful and appreciative of his authentic and direct approach. I feel challenged and more empowered.
Hunter is helping me feel the uncomfortable feelings that I want to suppress. He is helping me know how to heal while feeling the hurt. His empathetic heart helps me feel so cared about and seen and listened to.
