Hi there, I'm Clarie!
Often when we’re dealing with stressful situations at work or home we can begin to feel depressed, anxious, or overwhelmed. We may struggle to set boundaries in relationships or begin to feel lonely and unable to connect deeply with others. We also frequently begin feeling bad about ourselves. Maybe you’re seeking therapy because you’re tired of feeling unheard, or because you’re tired of beating yourself up and striving for perfection. I am passionate about helping people who are struggling with believing in themselves and who have a hard time letting others know what they need or want. I received my PhD in clinical psychology at Palo Alto University with an emphasis in neuroscience and women’s health in collaboration with Stanford University School of Medicine. I have specialized experience and training in cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy and use interventions informed by these treatments with my clients. We can work together to confront some of your negative beliefs and help you gain a more balanced perspective. I can help you to identify your boundaries and to communicate to your loved ones when you are feeling unheard. Life is hard. Together we can build new strategies for coping with stress, sadness and the difficulties of life.
