Do you feel your emotions are out of control? Do you find yourself reacting too quickly to work, family or personal situations and regret doing so later? Are you having trouble managing the daily stresses of life and relationships? Do you tend to want to engage in mind-numbing behavior to avoid feeling the pain and pressure of life?
As an empathic, caring licensed psychoanalyst and DBT (Dialectic Behavior Therapy) professional, I believe in offering a blended approach to therapy so that all who work with me have the advantage of not only digging deeper to learn what is at the root of a lot of fears and anxiety but to learn how to manage these challenges via more concrete skills as well
I offer individual therapy and couples therapy on a sliding scale and have been a DBT group leader for eight years. I typically lead DBT groups in my Chelsea office, however, currently I am meeting with my DBT groups via Zoom. I look forward to hearing from you.
