We live several lifetimes within our lifetime, and we all need support along the way. Seeking this support is not a weakness but a strength. My approach to therapy is to help individuals identify their strengths and gently guide them toward the life they envision.
It took Thomas Edison over 1000 attempts to create the lightbulb, but he did not see this as failing. Our lives can be viewed this way as well—it may take 1000 or more steps for our lives to be where we want them, but they are just that—steps, not failures.
I have been a licensed therapist for twenty years, working with adolescents, adults, and family units. I enjoy building rapport with new people through active listening and validation, helping each person discover their worth and best self.
