•For the past 15 years I have worked in the social services field. I recevied my LMSW from Adelphi University. I have a College Coach certificate from Bank Street College and I am, Behavior Management Specialist, trained through Ramapo for Children. I have a great deal of experience working with the special needs community. Additionally, I developed and operated Programs for Individuals and Families who have been affected by a special need. I provide individual and family counseling.
I have a passion for helping individuals and their families with a strong focus on special needs children, families and communities. I believe that our children's and adolescent greatest challenges are actually the keys to finding their inner strengths. The struggles they face today so not have to become their "identity" but rather opportunities for them to grow towards their true potential.
My mission of Joy Life Coaching is to help people find their balance and live a healthy, full life while providing high quality support with a focus and expertise working with the special needs population, adolescents and their families.
JLC vision is to help people find their balance spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally and socially. Clients will have a positive mindset and rejuvenated outlook for themselves and their future.
I work following the strength based perspective where I embrace the strengths in each individual to achieve the most growth possible.
