About David Melchiorri

Dave has served as the clinic director of the Waltham clinic since its opening. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor's degrees, completed the Boston University Fellowship in Manual Physical Therapy in 2015, and now serves as a mentor in that fellowship program. He also completed Level 1 and Level 2 of the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy program and is an instructor in that program.
This residency, fellowship, and manual therapy training have allowed Dave to establish a sound understanding of manual therapy, exercise prescription, and biomechanics to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. He has presented on Low Back Pain and Movement Control at CSM 2019, and on motor control deficits in the lumbar spine at national conferences including CSM 2018 (Denver, CO) and AAOMPT 2017 (Reno, NV). The Waltham clinic is proud to focus on optimal and timely patient outcomes while facilitating a positive patient experience. Dave is also adamant about employee focus and developing and growing fellow colleagues in his clinic and region.

I have been a patient of Dave for five years now. He and his team are top notch! Nico, who works the front desk, is always so friendly, accommodating, and so knowledgeable of the practice. I highly recommend Dave and his whole team! I would never go anywhere else for Physical Therapy!

Dave was really incredible. I came in with a chronic issue that’s been impacting my life for almost a year. He listened in detail to my story and asked pertinent questions along the way. He then took a look at how I moved to verify his plan for treatment and started treating me right away! During treatment, he took care to explain why I was experiencing the pain and how we would address it. I woke up the next day feeling better than I have in months. I’ve been to a neurologist, an ENT, an orthopedic surgeon, a thyroid specialist, and another physical therapist throughout the past year, and Dave did more for me in a single session than anyone. Would give him more than five stars if I could.
