Let's navigate life together. I have experience in helping clients with anger management, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, depression, & coping with life changes. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. I use an eclectic approach with several research-based interventions including CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. This is done to meet my clients where they are and to grow from there.
I received my B.A. in Psychology and Pan-African Studies from Kent State University in 2003. I then went on to complete a Masters of Education in Community Agency Counseling at Cleveland State University. I have been an active counseling therapist for 15 years and have worked in several different settings including Prevention Programs, School Based Therapy, and Outpatient therapy.
