It aims to enable patients, or clients, to understand their feelings, and what makes them feel positive, anxious, or depressed. This can equip them to cope with difficult situations in a more adaptive way.
Conscious Rising Psychotherapy offers cognitive, behavioral, psychodynamic, and trauma-focused treatments to expand the clients’ ability to improve their functioning. Treatments may last only a few sessions, while others are long-term, lasting for months or years. Sessions are usually for 1 hour, once a week, and they follow a carefully structured process. Sessions may be one-to-one.

This is my second time trying therapy and Deborah is an amazing person to talk to. After one session she made me feel validated and heard and I really felt that click. I’m couldn’t ask for a better person to help me work through this time I’m my life. ??

By far the best therapist I have ever had! It was a relief to finally find a therapist I could relate to that didn’t only asks how I’m doing and how I feel but offered various ways to cope, provided resources and affirmations and various viewpoints. She helped me work through so many of my issues, some of which I didn’t even know I had! Highly recommended!

Dr. Almonte not only helped me cope with my existing/recent life events, but she’s also helped me start acknowledging/healing trauma towards my inner child. I can confidently say that I would not be able to cope with my anxiety and triggers without her help.
