As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 45 years of experience, I specialize in helping adults navigate the challenges of trauma, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas and my Master's in Social Work from the University of Connecticut. My career has included working in renowned institutions like Yale New Haven Hospital's outpatient clinic and the New Haven Family Counseling Agency, where I collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans. This background has given me a deep understanding of how to approach mental health with a focus on whole-person care. Whether you're struggling to make sense of a past trauma or feeling overwhelmed by present circumstances, I aim to provide a safe, supportive environment for you to heal and grow.
In addition to my expertise in trauma, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders, I have extensive experience supporting individuals diagnosed with HIV. My time working in an infectious disease clinic has given me a unique perspective on the emotional and psychological challenges associated with chronic illness.
