All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy.
Whether you are challenged by issues related to grief and loss, family difficulties, past traumas, or other life cycle transitions, to name a few, I approach sessions with compassion and care. Your care is provided with respect for your privacy and confidentiality, delivered in a non-judgmental manner. I take an unimposing approach to each session by listening to what is important to you to know your desired outcome. Appropriate modalities are then delivered in easy reflective conversation. You will be empowered on your journey, challenged as you grow, supported through your ups and downs, and celebrated at each milestone. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor’s degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Thank you in advance for entrusting me with your journey.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My name is Deidre Ann Ricketts, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida. I have been providing psychotherapy to children, teens, adults, and seniors for the past 7 years both in person and virtually. My Master of Social Work training from Florida Atlantic University, post graduate continuing education trainings, various employment opportunities, and faith prepared me to be a compassionate, respectful, and an empowering clinician who also cares about client confidentiality. My confidence in your ability to reach your therapy goals is rooted in my belief that you are capable of change, and can overcome your challenges in order to lead the successful life you have dreamed of. I have found that solution focused, cognitive, and trauma-based therapy modalities often lead to desired outcome, and as a result I intertwine these in our conversations. During our time together, I will listen with ears and heart, challenge you to grow, support you in your ups and downs, and celebrate with you when you achieve milestones.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
In our first meeting, my primary focus is to hear your heart, and understand your desired outcome from the therapeutic process. This is followed by treatment planning, in order to have mile markers as you move toward your goals. I strive for a conversational environment that is relaxed and allow you to take the lead. While keeping your goals in mind, therapeutic modalities are introduced based on need and personality. Book recommendations and written homework are used only as they are beneficial. I encourage you toward setting mini weekly goals and review your progress often with you, always focusing on strengths and empowerment. Lastly, I encourage openness for you in the process where you can provide feedback on the effectiveness of sessions, as well as any potential barriers in how they are being conducted. You reaching your desired outcome is the only priority in our time together, and is held in high regard.

I see patients through UpLift. When you create your profile, you will input your insurance information and the team will reach out with your copay amount. If you do not have insurance, I also take cash pay clients. The UpLift team will work directly with you to inform you of payments due. The prices for visits are dependent on your co-pay amount through your insurance. If you are a cash-pay client, our price ranges from $75 to $145 per visit
