Doug Hornbeck has more than 35 years experience in mental health care working with children, adolescents, adults, families and groups. He previously served as a supervisor for the psychiatric intake department through the Cleveland Clinic Health System and managed an Intensive Outpatient Program. In private practice for more than 10 years, he has specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), hypnosis and critical incident stress debriefing. He also has more than 20 years experience working with the HIV/AIDS population. He earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from The Ohio State University and his master's degree in social work from Case Western Reserve University. He specializes in working with children, adolescents and families with chronic mental health and physical health issues, Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorders and mood disorders.
