Psychotherapist
5 S Main St, Ste 213, Oberlin, OH
I am passionate about helping adults who are experiencing discomfort or distress in their lives to explore the source of their distress in order to improve their overall well-being. My clients often struggle with negative emotions and sabotaging behaviors caused by unresolved experiences from earlier in their lives. These unresolved experiences may be affecting their current feelings about themselves and their interactions with others. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Akron and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support my clients effectively.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our sessions will include talking, practicing techniques designed to calm and center oneself, and should we decide together that it’s a good fit for you, EMDR therapy. EMDR therapy is different from talk therapy and allows you to reprocess painful memories without necessarily sharing explicit details of those memories. I strongly believe that change and healing are possible, and I will provide a safe, supportive space for you to learn and grow.
