As a psychotherapist working with adults, I emphasize the importance of developing a unique and genuine relationship with each person and use the therapeutic alliance as the starting point for exploring individual challenges and dynamics. My psychodynamic approach to therapy involves exploring and appreciating how we shape and are shaped by our relationships, cultures, and environments. In addition to being a treatment for pressing mental health issues, I see psychotherapy as promoting lives of greater freedom and richness. I have experience focusing on anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, relational trauma, substance use, and issues around sexuality and gender. Before joining Rose Hill Psychological Services, where I currently practice, I completed a training internship at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies as part of my clinical social work education at New York University.
