I believe only the brave can take you as far as they have gone. Are you ready to do what it takes to cultivate a relationship with yourself? My clinical approach is deeply rooted in humanistic therapy. The foundation of my therapeutic relationships are established on acceptance, respect and trust. I facilitate therapy that is focused on helping people discover who they are by looking inward and figuring out what they truly desire. Furthermore, I assist individuals and couples mitigate feelings of distress by developing skills to replace maladaptive coping strategies. I utilize various evidence based modalities in therapy including cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, and mindfulness.
I have over a decade of clinical experience treating anxiety, depression, grief, post traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse, and trauma. Additionally, my training includes working with survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault and LBGTQ+ issues. Currently I am working with adults and couples. I received a Masters Degree in Marriage Family Therapy from California State University Northridge where I also completed undergraduate studies in psychology. I started my career working with survivors of trauma. As I evolved, I quickly learned the importance of treating the whole person. Later on as a Clinical Supervisor at an integrated community mental health agency in Arizona, I gained clinical experience treating individuals with trauma, co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. I continue to be passionate about my calling in life and grateful to all those who have given me the opportunity to help them discover theirs.
