Hi there, I'm Jasen!
My name is Jasen Eberz, a practicing Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10+ years of experience. I take a short-term and solution-based approach toward therapy as a way to provide individuals with support and skill sets to address whatever life throws their way.
My approach
I utilized a trauma-informed approach that utilizes current research in a multitude of areas including neurology, sleep, psychology, romantic relationships, etc. I prefer to utilize a blend of motivational interviewing, solution-focused, and trauma-informed interventions to help individuals see not only the solution but the potential causes of the problems in order to hopefully prevent future episodes.
My focus
My goal is to help you and/or your significant other alleviate your mental suffering be that addiction, symptoms of your past trauma/s, depression, infidelity, or anxiety.
My communication style
I will meet you wherever you are with your preferred speech however, I tend to be blunt and forthcoming with my communication patterns in order to optimize your time and energy in therapy.
My first session with you
It is important to know that the first session or two will be focused on building our rapport and information gathering so that I am able to provide you with productive solutions that are custom fit to your individual or couples-based needs.
