I am the owner/psychotherapist of Visual Healing Therapeutic Services, PLLC.
Diversity is a value that I seek to recognize in others. I don't shy away from highlighting the raw, but real experience of grief that's often tucked away and covered up. I actively strive to amplify awareness around grief and mental health.
I am a certified grief specialist and besides that- I know the ups and downs of this journey first-hand. I recently suffered two significant death- losses back-to-back in 2020. With the help of my therapist and a few other special supporters, I decided to face grief head-on even when it felt like giving up would be easier. Dealing with grief can be difficult even for us as mental health professionals because we’re human too.
I know this pain so well that I consider it an honor to be present with those who are open to receiving support and those who want to grow through their pain. When you commit to growing through the pain and struggles of grief and life itself, with the right kind of support seeds of hope are planted. How you feel and how you react to the pain can eventually begin to improve and it continues to get that much easier every time.
I am often sought out by various organizations in the greater community for the passion and drive I have toward providing education on topics of grief and mental health. I wholeheartedly believe you have the strength not only to survive, but to truly thrive.
