Hello, I'm Rodney. Do you ever feel weighed down by feelings of fear and anxiety? Are you frustrated in trying to find or sustain healthy relationships despite all the time and effort you have put into them? Together, we will work on strategies that allow you to address the root cause of your difficulties and build meaningful social connections. After receiving my LPC license in 1998, I worked for several years as a therapist in private practice before embarking on a twenty-year professional career as an Employee Assistance Counselor and a Human Resource Management Consultant with a large government organization. In 2019, I took early retirement so I could return to my true passion of once again helping individuals and couples work through life’s stressors and challenges that greatly impact one’s overall well-being. I focus primarily on adults, using a number of therapeutic strategies to help you not only gain insight into your issues but more importantly develop practical tools so you can better manage and resolve the challenges you are currently facing. My specialties include military and veteran support, addiction, anger management, family relationships, grief and bereavement, life transitions, OCD, spirituality, stress, anxiety, depression, narcissistic personality disorder, and intimate or romantic relationships.
