I’m a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist and Dance/Movement Psychotherapist. I work collaboratively with my clients to help support their emotional and mental well-being through an integration of the mind and body. I am trauma focused, intersectionality minded, and psychodynamically oriented. I work with many clients who are faced with stress, anxiety, and low self-esteem, helping them to overcome these challenges and enhance their repertoire of coping skills and resources. More recently, I have also worked with many clients managing stress and grief related to Covid-19 through secure telehealth sessions.
I am deeply committed to addressing mental health stressors related to oppression, family dynamics, trauma, and identity. I strive to practice cultural humility and maintain an QTGNC affirming and body positive space. I focus on the inherent strengths within each individual, locating self-empowerment through the somatic experience.
Through empathetic and compassionate care I support each individual's journey towards feeling more at home within their body, mind, and community.
Our practice is out-of-network with insurance companies, which means that coverage can vary quite a bit depending on your plan. Our office can check your benefits ahead of the session so we can give you an estimate of your out-of-pocket costs. We also have a biller who will submit all claims for you. Unfortunately, Medicaid plans do not offer any out-of-network coverage for therapy.
