You’ve checked the boxes, met the expectations, and kept pushing forward. Yet somehow, anxiety still follows you home. Your mind won’t shut off at night. Relationships feel harder than they should. You find yourself stuck in the same arguments, the same self-doubt, the same habits that no longer work. When you’re navigating a demanding career, family responsibilities, a major loss, or uncertainty about what comes next, it’s exhausting to keep functioning on the outside while struggling on the inside. I work with straight and LGBTQ+ individuals and couples who are tired of surviving and ready to create meaningful change. Many of my clients are high-achieving professionals and college students dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, burnout, and questions about identity, purpose, and belonging. Together, we identify the patterns that keep you stuck and develop practical, sustainable ways to respond differently, so you can stop repeating the same cycles and start feeling more like yourself again.

Getting to know Laura (Lola) Sadai

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach integrates CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based practices, and psychodynamic therapy. As an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist (EFT), I specialize in helping straight and LGBTQ+ couples strengthen connection, improve communication, rebuild trust, and navigate challenges related to parenting, intimacy, premarital concerns, and infidelity. Relationships are complicated. Having a skilled guide can make the difference between staying stuck in painful patterns and creating the kind of partnership you actually want. Therapy with me is collaborative, creative, and deeply human. As a former dancer and yoga teacher, I’m especially attuned to how stress, emotion, and trauma live in the body. Together, we’ll create a space where you can slow down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and move toward a life that feels more connected, authentic, and fulfilling.
