Getting to know Sarah Spiegel

We all carry wounds—some we can name, and others that live quietly beneath the surface. Often rooted in early or overwhelming experiences, these wounds can shape how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world. In our work together, I aim to create a safe, supportive space where you feel seen and understood, and where therapy is thoughtfully tailored to you and where you are in your healing process. My approach is relational, collaborative, and person-centered, drawing from psychodynamic therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients gently explore patterns, parts, and emotions shaped by past experiences. I believe healing happens through a trusting therapeutic relationship, and that you are the expert on your own life. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, and I hold a certificate in trauma counseling. I am also EMDR trained and an EMDRIA-approved therapist, allowing me to incorporate EMDR when appropriate to support deeper processing and healing. I work with adults navigating PTSD and complex trauma (C-PTSD), as well as anxiety, depression, attachment wounds, grief and loss, relational challenges, and life transitions.
