Getting to know Jazmin Cano

You’ve probably done the self help, listened to podcasts, and give your friends great advice… but when it comes to you, your mind still spirals. I’m a therapist who works with young adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship stress, and identity shifts. Most of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected even when things look fine on the outside. My approach is practical and structured. I help you regulate your nervous system, understand your patterns, and build routines that actually support your day to day life. This includes things like improving sleep, creating consistency, and breaking cycles that keep you overthinking. I take a holistic and culturally aware approach because your mental health, lifestyle, relationships, and past experiences are all connected. If you’re ready to do the work outside of sessions and want accountability, we’ll work well together. Check out my website for more info on my services(:

What should a new client know about working with you?

My style is warm, honest, and direct. You don’t have to show up perfect or have the “right” words, you can just be real. At the same time, I’m not a passive therapist. I will guide you, challenge patterns when needed, and help you actually apply what we talk about to your real life. We look at your routine, your stress levels, your relationships, and how everything connects. A lot of anxiety and burnout comes from imbalance, so we work on creating structure that supports you, not drains you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In the first few sessions, we get clear on what’s been keeping you stuck and what you want to change. From there, we create a plan so sessions feel focused and productive. I come prepared and do work outside of sessions so each session builds on the last. You won’t feel like you’re repeating yourself every week. I also offer HIPAA compliant messaging between sessions for brief support, whether you need to vent, ground yourself, or stay accountable.
