What should a new client know about working with you?

When you work with me, you can expect a supportive, culturally sensitive space where your background and experiences are respected and understood. My approach is multicultural, problem-focused, and solution-focused — meaning we’ll explore what’s happening in your life right now, identify what’s getting in the way, and work together on practical steps that help you move forward. My goal is to make therapy feel collaborative, empowering, and grounded in what matters most to you. For privacy and consent reasons, all patients age 18+ are required to book their own appointments. If you need assistance or have any questions about this policy, please reach out directly to our office for support.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our work together, I start by completing a biopsychosocial assessment to understand your background, current concerns, and overall wellbeing. We’ll explore your family of origin, clarify what you’d like to work on, and set collaborative goals. From there, each session focuses on the areas most important to you while we track progress using ongoing assessment and measurable goals. My aim is to make the process clear, supportive, and tailored to your needs.
