For an initial appointment, just to feel each other out, I had an excellent experience with Dr. Barber. She has gentle and refreshing bedside manner, too. I felt understood and heard. I also love that she came with a foundational game plan for how to go about achieving the goals I shared in my intake forms, but was able to expand it and incorporate tools to address my immediate concerns. I’m excited for what’s to come in our next appt and that’s saying something for a “first timer”.

I just started working with Jerica, and she has been great. I have gone to a different therapist in the past who I didn’t connect with but have not had that problem with Jerica since day one! She is wonderful to work with.

Jerica barber was wonderful to work with and help me set my next goals to get through my situation!

We met a few times and we were headed in a positive direction. She seems knowledgeable and we had a good vibe. The biggest issue for me is that she was always late to our appointments, atleast 15 minutes each time. I was disappointed to be charged a ridiculous fee as a no show even though I waited 25 MINUTES before leaving her waiting room. After I left she joined and said there was some type of technical problem that prevented her from joining on time. I believe she could have chosen to be more gracious with this bogus fee since I obviously had every intention of meeting with her. She later reached out to inform me that she encourages her clients to be in the waiting room until their session begins. Well my session was supposed to start on the hour and I stayed on the line for 25 minutes staring at myself. Just be careful and make sure you understand and align with her style before you spend your hard earned money and not get the level of service and professionalism you expect.

Jerica has helped provide me with many different perspectives on a lot of the issues I've had in my life and has really helped me approach life with a new outlook. She is one of the most encouraging people I've had the pleasure to meet and hope to continue having her in the future.
