About John Dragan
John Dragan P.T., GCS, CEEAA co-founded AgeWell Physical Therapy and Wellness, P.C. in 2004. He is a Board Certified Clinical Geriatric Specialist, one of approximately 1,700 nationwide and one of approximately 500 when he passed the specialist exam. Mr. Dragan matriculated at the University of Connecticut where he received his Degree in Physical Therapy. Prior to opening AgeWell, Mr. Dragan was the Director of Rehabilitation at a well known 255-bed inpatient center on Long Island where he supervised physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology services.
Mr. Dragan earned his Certification as Exercise Expert for Aging Adults. (CEEAA.) This certification enhances the ability of physical therapists to incorporate evidence into practice in order to appropriately examine and provide the quality of exercise that will yield optimal benefits for the aging adult.
He is proficient in performing EMG (electromyogram) and NCV (nerve conduction velocity) tests; these tests determine the health of individual nerves and muscles and can help direct physical therapy treatment as well as diagnosis and medical treatment by your physician.
Mr. Dragan coaches little league baseball and football for his kids. He volunteers at his kids’ swim meets for most of the year. He also loves to exercise including running, swimming and weightlifting.

Wonderful. The therapist is always knowledgable and can accomodate according to individual ailments of the day. Modifications are offered for different therapie. Highly recommended for patients that require physical therapy to improve pain & daily living activities!
