Getting to know Jonathan Meza

My name is Jonathan Meza, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I am a member of the American Counseling Association and CALPCC, and I have been working in the mental health field since 2008. I have the unique life experience of being a US Army veteran and surviving the grief and loss of one of my children. I'm also fluent in Spanish and was raised by parents who were immigrants from Mexico and El Salvador. My daily inspiration comes from my role as a husband, being a blessed father of two children, and my love of music, art, science and technology, geek culture, nature, and spirituality.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Finding the right therapist for you is important. I'm known for being a great listener, and a kid at heart. I'm a believer that life’s hardships can be opportunities for amazing growth. My approach is to gently challenge my clients with sensitivity for everyone's unique pace in self-discovery and motivation to achieve their goals.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
