"Hi there! My name is Kasey Osselborn (she/her), and I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with independent licenses in both Ohio and West Virginia. With over a decade of experience in the behavioral health field and four years of dedicated therapy sessions, I've had the privilege of working with clients who face stress, anxiety, depression, abuse, and trauma histories.
In our sessions, clients often share that stress and anxiety make them feel like their brain never shuts off, constantly running. Some brave souls manage to put on a happy face, minimizing their abuse and trauma histories, feeling like they always have to be happy. Together, we've worked through these challenges, and I've seen clients move from feeling hopeless and in the dark to being excited about brighter days ahead.
My professional journey has taken me through various settings, from residential to community-based to crisis response. I've had the opportunity to support individuals experiencing housing difficulties, job loss, suicidal thoughts and attempts, and those uncertain about their true identity. These experiences have fueled my passion for hearing others' struggles and working together to create a brighter and healthier present and future.
I specialize in helping clients with anger management, anxiety, ADHD, developmental disabilities, gender identity, grief and bereavement, stress, suicidal ideation and self-harming, trauma, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, LGBTQIA+ support, and depression. I truly value honesty and genuineness, and I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
Outside of work, I'm an avid animal lover who enjoys spending time outdoors, especially riding quads and SXs. You'll often find me at any EDM concert or festival I can attend. These personal interests keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of balance and joy in life.
