About Kathleen O'Donnell-Pickert
Kathleen is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist who leads with empathy and a passion for impacting patients’ lives. She has experience treating the outpatient orthopedic population as well as neurological conditions. Kathleen’s passion is helping her patients return to functional occupations and activities. With hands being our most functional tools, the natural route was Hand Therapy.
Kathleen passed her Certified Hand Therapist certification exam in 2019 and has been treating and splinting complex upper extremity cases since. Kathleen also has a certification in Pilates and loves to combine its principles with traditional rehab theories in order to improve patients’ functional outcomes. Kathleen believes in continuing her education and is excited to expand her treatment to women’s health and pelvic floor through taking the Herman and Wallace level 1 course.
Kathleen attended Quinnipiac University for both her bachelor's degree in Health Science and master's degree in Occupational Therapy, during this program she spent a semester abroad in Cork City, Ireland, which fed into her love of travelling. When not in the clinic, you can find Kathleen enjoying the beach (usually in her favorite place and second home- The Bahamas), doing a DIY project, at a Pilates class, cooking or baking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
