She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who earned her Master's in Clinical Psychology from San José State University in 2003 and became licensed in 2008. With more than eight years of experience, she works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Her clinical expertise includes trauma, abuse (physical, sexual, and emotional), PTSD, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, parent-child conflict, relational issues, and behavioral challenges such as ADHD/ADD and oppositional defiance. Kristin draws upon a variety of treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Systems Therapy, to best meet the needs of her patients. Additionally, she has experience working with couples on issues such as communication difficulties and infidelity.
