My approach includes blending Eastern and Western somatic modalities with cognitive and transpersonal psychology to bring awareness to your bodily sensations. With a strong focus on mindfulness, this process allows you to become aware of your thoughts, feelings, and sensations and how they manifest in your body. I believe it is important to carefully tailor the needs of each client with a variety of modalities to help the client move towards a more connected and fulfilling life. Since 2004, I have been working in the field of body-centered therapy, gaining experience in a variety of settings. I have completed extensive training in trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, eating disorders/body image issues, and anxiety disorders. I hold a PhD in Psychology from Saybrook University, which has deepened my understanding of the mind-body connection and enhanced my ability to support clients on their healing journeys.
